1. Pre-concert lecture or classroom lecture: The Lyrical Genius of Peggy Lee
   In this multimedia presentation, Dr. Oney presents salient points from her dissertation research and analysis of song lyrics composed by Peggy Lee. In a PowerPoint Presentation format, Oney investigates Lee's songs from the standpoint of phrase structure, rhyme schemes, different genres, poetic style, and range of themes. This lecture presentation may be tailored to fit any number of class or pre-concert settings.
   
   • In a jazz history or performance class setting, emphasis may be placed on the relationship between these lyric elements and Peggy Lee's signature vocal style.
   • In a literature or poetry class setting, emphasis may be placed on the elements and structure of Lee's poetry.

   An experienced and supportive guest clinician and teacher, Dr. Oney loves to work with singers of all ages! In this residency option, your singers present their vocal jazz repertoire (in either solo or vocal jazz ensemble settings) while Dr. Oney provides coaching and constructive feedback.
