In this multimedia presentation, Dr. Oney presents salient points from her dissertation research and analysis of song lyrics composed by Peggy Lee. In a PowerPoint Presentation format, Oney investigates Lee's songs from the standpoint of phrase structure, rhyme schemes, different genres, poetic style, and range of themes. This lecture presentation may be tailored to fit any number of class or pre-concert settings.
